Mag Lev


In this module, students perform a series of investigations on magnets to discover their properties. Students also discuss the uses of magnets, create geometric shapes using magnetic repulsion and brainstorm examples of magnets in use in their everyday lives. They balance the magnetic forces and gravitational force to levitate a plastic stick in stable equilibrium.
