Exploring magnets

$15.00$1,000.00

This module is all about exploring magnets. Students categorize different substances as magnetic or non-magnetic by observing the effect of a magnet on them. Through the series of investigations, students learn to identify the poles of a magnet using a compass and observe the magnets’ repulsion and attraction force and learn more about their properties. Students also discuss uses for magnets and brainstorm examples of magnets in use in their everyday lives.
